The performer stands in front of an audience with his arms stretched out while holding a lit candle, upright, in each hand. The performer slowly turns the candle in his right hand upside down by twisting his arm forward and after a moment he does the same with the candle in his left hand but by twisting the arm backwards. The candles violently drip burning wax onto the floor. The performance stops when the performer can no longer endure the flames burning upwards.

This performance is inspired by Bas Jan Ader’s Nightfall
